Hi and many thanks for your answer; I didn't know about adsutil.vbs

However, the output it gives me, has this form :
[/W3SVC/1]
[/W3SVC/1326478654]
[/W3SVC/2]
etc.

I could program and make another script run, in order to sort out the
"real" directory names (and output them e.g. in a textfile) but ...
once I get that correct list, how am I supposed to put it into Analog
config file ?

I have read the /docs/logfile.html file in the documentation, and I
don't see how I can configure the LOGFILE variable like I need then.

I should have something like :
LOGFILE %go_read_that_variable_in_the_file_list.txt%

CONFIGFILE logfiles.txt

http://analog.cx/docs/syntax.html#CONFIGFILE

where list.txt content (created with another script, from the adsutil
output) would be :
C:\Windows\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1\ex*.log,
C:\Windows\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1326478654\ex*.log,
C:\Windows\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC2\ex*.log,
etc.

I am getting closer but still lack some good idea (or understanding
;) )

I'm still not sure what the problem is - how often are you adding new Web servers? If you are adding the often enough that you need to script the process of adding them to Analog, then you should probably script the process of creating them too. If you only create the logfiles occassionally, and do it by hand, it would be simpler to just add the appropriate LOGFILE statement to analog at the same time.
