At 09:07 a +0000 01/17/2007, Andreas Kuhn didst inscribe upon an
electronic papyrus:
Well I want to know with screensize is defined on the PC (1024*768, 800*600,
1600*1200....). As my employer offers Wallpapers it is interesting to know
wich sizes to offer. Is there any necessity to offer 800x600 any more or just
start with 1024*768.
On the Mac, the Monitors control panel lists many possible sizes; I
don't know if Windows has such a list. My desktop monitor is 832x624,
but it's in storage so I'm using my widescreen laptop which is
1152x768.
Is it really so hard to offer multiple sizes? It's just a quick
resize/crop and save in any graphics program, and then you're done.
Alternatively you could offer a high-res original or two (perhaps
different aspect ratios, the most common being 4:3) and let people
resize/crop it themselves for their own monitor's resolution. :-)
And now back to Analog. :D
