Thanks Jeremy - I can generate the individual reports OK so I'm really
interested in finding an efficient way of collating the results, say
from a number of individual dat files.

I suppose the other issue is whether there is real value in producing a
distinct hosts figure for each of the directories. I know about the
limitations of using distinct hosts to infer number of visitors but the
client seems interested in monitoring this.

Here's the list of supported columns for a report:
http://analog.cx/docs/othreps.html#othCOLS

I think that means you have to run 60 copies. I'm sure you could write a
quick script to do that. First run just producing the directory report
and with COMPUTER or XML output, then parse that and generate analog
calls using the values from that report and all your normal analog
settings.

Subject: [analog-help] Reporting distinct host figures for individual
sitedirectories / folders

I've been asked to investigate how best to report distinct host figures
for individual site directories / folders of a particular site, probably
on a monthly basis.

I know how to produce an Analog cfg file that limits reporting to a
particular directory of the site using appropriate FILEINCLUDE
statements.

The site however has about 60 directories and to report a distinct hosts
figure for each directory would mean running 60 individual reports and
collating the results.

Can anyone suggest a quicker way of gathering such details?
