HI everyone: I'm new to this list, and I signed up specifically to better understand what kind of traffic is coming to my web site, www.advicesisters.net . Every day I see statistics for "requests" and "page requests." I have tried to figure out what the difference is, but I can't seem to find a definite answer online anywhere. So I'm hoping someone will tell me what the significance of both of these statistics is. In addition, I'm always asked by potential advertisers how many page views I get. There isn't anything on the stats for page views so I'm wondering....is either the requests or page requests the same thing?

I apologize for asking what might seem to be a very basic question, but it's been bothering me for some time, and so I finally decided to put myself out on this list, and ask.

Can anyone supply a reasonably non-technical answer? Thanks in advance if you can.
