Stephen, if you're maintaining a checklist for a future version of
Analog, I think I may have finally found a bug!

When you enable debugging, Analog indicates the first field that it
couldn't match to the LOGFORMAT by printing an asterisk under it.

When the log entry is tab delimited, Analog calculates the position of
the asterisk by counting the number of characters that occur before the
field. Tab characters are counted as a single character, but when the
Log Entry itself is displayed, the tabs are "printed" as tabs, rather
than being converted to a single character space. That means that the
asterisk on the following line no longer lines up, because some of the
tabs will be displayed as more than one space, even though they were
only counted as a single space.

The tabs in the log entry should be converted to single spaces before
the line is printed out in Debug Mode.
