Am I correct in understanding that godaddy exports some data into the
analyzer and I can see data summaries and reports?
After reseting my stats at 6 a.m. on June 26 I did see some data results
on the evening of 6/28.
This morning this information is included in my summary report.
3. Program start time Jun 28, 2008 06:11
4. Time of first request Jun 27, 2008 00:13
5. Time of last request Jun 27, 2008 23:5
Where can I find definitions for these dates? How can the program start
time be after the time of first request? Is this only showing me the
previous period's first and last request?
On my Request Report, I see the "Date and time of last access Jun. 27,
2008 23:12." Is this the time that godaddy gave data to the analyzer?
The Program Start Time is the time that Analog runs and generates it's
report. It should always be after the Time of the last request, never
mind the Time of the first request (with some caveats to do with time
zones). Analog can't generate it's report until after the web server has
created the log file.
The "Date and time of last access" is the last time that that particular
item was requested. There should be an entry for every request that is
listed in your request report.
I checked the godaddy website, and it looks like they don't provide the
actual logfiles for their free hosting service, just a basic
Analog/ReportMagic report.
