Hmn. The user table should be updated; I can only think of two situations here:
1. There was a lag between collecting the information and the information being used, and the change happened then; 2. There was a lag in the databases, and the change happened then; 3. The user didn't change their email address on whatever project we queried (is it a global change? Can any developers chip in here?) I've left some thoughts on that page regarding the privacy policy - I understand the users' concerns but I don't think they're founded on a valid interpretation. Hopefully it helps.
