The challenge is to know in what context your seeing this statement in? If you seeing it in Gen:5:29 then we see the root NHh and YNHhMNu (sometimes translated as a verb).
The first is a NAME, and is two pictures, the first is "N' a sprouting seed, giving the idea of continuing something. The second is "Hh" a wall, giving the idea of dividing something such as inside to outside of a tent. Putting these two together in this form "NHh" we see the idea of (the) seed growing or continuing (to) divide. This has been translated as the NAME of "Noah" maybe giving his "NAME" character as (the one who) continuing (to) divide. In this same verse we see "YNHhMNu" this statement has the same root "NHh". If we see the prefix "Y" as "He" then we get the idea "He" continues (to) divide ? What does "He" continues (to) divide, "Nu" if we see the suffix "Nu" as "Us" meaning we as a group, then it's a stated group being identified.
