Hi,
I'm new to the group. I started reading the lessons last night on your
website and I am very interested in learning more of the Hebrew language. What
an exciting website!
What got me interested originally was that I was trying to figure out how to
write the name Lazarus in Hebrew. Is there any way that you'd be able to tell
me how that is written in both ancient and modern Hebrew? I was on two
different translation sites over the weekend and they each spelled it
differently. The first spelling was, lamed-zayin-resh-vav-samech and the
second website said it was, lamed-zayin-resh-samech. Could somebody help me
with this? I also want to make sure of it's meaning. I read that this name
means, "God is my help." This is really important to me and through trying to
figure this all out, I have accidentally become interested in learning Hebrew.
Thanks again for this amazing website. Kelly
