Shalom to ALL! My own understanding of ALef is quite different. I see ALef consonant as the bull's head. Suggesting virility - symbol of the Creator or Master Progenitor of all creation. And ALef vowel as His seed. Notice that the Ancient A has been rotated 90 degrees to become our English A. I see A at its original angle as beginning on the left - first appearing as a dot which rapidly sprouted into 2 lines dividing off a 45 degree portion which suddenly sealed off to contain its potent energy. Its twice crossing vertical suggests a bud above + a bud below - awaiting a catalyst to sprout a root + shoot. A, to me suggests potent energy, stored up + waiting to go. Whereas B is an alef with a root sprouted - the next stage of development. A, I see as not just a flat triangle, but rather a cone - the original cornucopia, from which all the bounty of the heavens + the Earth flowed.
Evidence of all this is found in the word B'RAShITh. B = in. RASh = head. Within the head is an A - a seed, or a thought, which is the beginning of every creation. AL first spoke His thought -A, the word "AL>ef!" And His Son - the offspring of "AL" came to be. E is the symbol of glory: + F is the role of Mouth, or Spokesman. Son ALef in-turn flowed AL's breath onwards, to create the ALeim (Angels -outflows of AL-e), the Heavens + the Earth. So proof of A's identities as both the Progenitor + His seed, arises from this thinking. I see "B'RAShITh," (Gen 1:1) as carrying the meaning - "That which was in the Head, came out in order to complete." What was in the only Head around at the time? The seed of AL's concept was expressed verbally into a living Being - The Word - "ALef!" He has come out to complete AL's whole creation concept. So, in human reproductive terms: A consonant = The Progenitor. A vowel = His Seed. B = fetus, G (a builder's square) = labor. D = Access (pubic triangle), H/E = glory (experiences at birth) H - Rising glories of the sun + moon, water + wind. E - personal glories (experience of light, liquids, breath.). [The ancient H/E demonstrates the combined rise by its backbone, + the independent falls of sun/moon, rain/hail/snow, + wind. U/W = hook -symbol of man. W = UAU man covered by 2nd Adum (from the beginning). Z = barrier across street = no commerce, rest, recreate, refresh. And Hk = a ladder = division, symbol of circumcision (which separates a man unto Y'Hwe.) The 2nd set of 7 letters demonstrate separation, focus + setting of goals + parameters, guidance etc. The 3rd set of 7 letters are our registers of qualification. We are to work our way thru to Sh = Judgeship. As the 22 letters begin with A + end with Th, so do our lives begin with A seed + continue to Th - the eternal state, completion. U being both 'ing' + 'and' + the symbol of man, joins A+Th, forming AUTh. AUTh = YOU. We are those who walk the ALef-beTh of life, to completion -Thaw. AUTh is the basis of our words Author, Authority, Authentic. AUTh is Father AL's Trademark brand. At Th we ThAW out of our carnal blood-flesh, + take on the spirit-flesh + bones body of the spiritual man. Well, that's how I see it.
