I might add, I've experimented with this. It was in a group of Women's Health Conference. The Pastor was on a platform, of course. Opening prayer. We were all seated around round tables below the platform. I looked around the room and it turned out that an additional two people at my table were doing the same thing I was doing. And I saw a few heads above the crowd in the entire room which was below the platform.
Of course, with direct vision, the pastor could see all this too, with bowed head. Talk about power:) I'd like to see in Congress more heads looking straight into the eyes of the Doctor of Divinity as he bows his head. Think about peripheral vision being up and down as well as sideways;) My Rabbis and lay Hebrew School teachers sure strengthened the area above my blood-brain barrier.
