hey everyone,
i am a freshman in this yahoo group of hebrew people. Thank you so much for
sending me some of the info on Hebrew language. I actually have a greater need
that only the Lord can fullfil, but i also believe that He can do it through
some of you.
i am from a far away land:)!  and i need  a christian linguist for helping me
to write a linguistic course paper using english and either greek or hebrew
language in some sort of comparing them... the problem is that i have not
defined the task yet, i know one thing i can use the Bible in my paper and do
some sort of comparing stuff with bible languages, if anybody can advice me a
christian linguist who could help me with that?
thanks a lot.
with deep respect
Lena

Shalom Larry,

Regarding Hebrew in the New Testament,
you may find Dr Robert L. Lindsey's work interesting:
http://www.mayimhayim.org/Hebrew%20Perspectives/JesusRabbiAndLord.htm

the "New Testament" is full of quotes and references from the Torah and the
Tanakh.
Most of the gospels are fulfillment of prophecies from the Tanakh. And living
examples of Torah lifestyle.
Most of the "New Testament" (The letters) is a commentary on the Torah, b and
for believers in the New covenant life.

It's all connected from Bereshit to Revelations. One story.

Please do not send me any more New Testament crap, it was not written in Hebrew
and has nothing to do with this group

Could anyone be so kind to advise the original Hebrew scroll about Tehillim 6:8?

The reason to ask this is this verse is quoted by our Master יהושעat
Mattithyahu 7:23 and many versions translated as "wicked" and those versions
have only printed as "wicked" not "lawless".

It should be the "lawless"?

Tehillim 6:8
8Depart from me, all you workers of wickedness;

Mattithyahu 7:23 (The Scriptures)
23“And  then  I  shall  declare  to  them,  ‘I never knew you, depart from Me,
you who work lawlessness!’

Thank you.
