Shalom momlovesgod,

no offense intended by me.

I know "Christians" who don't accept "Jesus" as "God"
who reject Torah, and the Tanakh as irrelevant
some who hate and reject the the "whole Christian Bible"

Timothy's question was about Hebrew, applied in context of Torah lifestyle, in a
Jewish community.
Matthew was rooted in Hebrew, and quoting from haKetuvim.

The "Christian writings" were written by Hebrews (Sha'ul/Paul was a Benjamite,
Matthew a Levite, Levi'im, NOT all from the House of Judah).  Written primarily
to Jews and Jewish communtities that included Non Jews wanting to know how to
live written Torah.

Can Y'hoshua's teachings and example of Torah life, and the others in "The
Christian writings"  be studied / discussed as upholding Torah in this group?
without any discussion as to whether or not Y'hoshua is haMashiach/ "God"?

I agree with Larry. Irregardless of any Hebrew in the Christian writings, that
is not an appropriate topic for this group. Not all members believe Yeshua of
Nazareth to be the Messiah(as I do not) and it is highly offensive to us to try
to link the two. Yeshua was clearly an observant Jew and most likely a follower
of the school of Hillel who came before him. The Christian writings with the
possible exception of early copies of Matthew were written in Koine Greek.
