Shalom Eileen,
Thank you for your reply.
To narrow down the subject, could anyone translate in Hebrew thought about
Tehillim 6:8?
Would Tehillim 6:8 in English is
8Depart from me, all you workers of lawnessness; ?

Thank you for sharing the Web link of

Shalom.

Shalom Timothy

in the Tanakh it's Tehillim 6:9, thank you for including the English
interpretation so I can find it.

I'm not reading out of a Torah scroll,
but out of a Tanakh. [the Hebrew Bible, "Old Testament"] JPS Hebrew/English

I am confused by your question, since in Hebrew thought, both English words
express the same Hebrew concept. workers of wickedness or works of lawlessness

To be outside of Torah, or against Torah IS lawlessness: someone who is without
the Law/Torah.
This is a life of chaos,  based upon deception, without relationship with
The Creator or Mashiach.
Outside of the understanding of absolute truth, reality, wisdom, sanity.
Without these.
The fruit [the result] of these lives are wickedness. (insanity)

Is there more to your question that I'm not understanding?

Shalom Larry,

Regarding Hebrew in the New Testament,
you may find Dr Robert L. Lindsey's work interesting:
http://www.mayimhayim.org/Hebrew%20Perspectives/JesusRabbiAndLord.htm

the "New Testament" is full of quotes and references from the Torah and the
Tanakh.
Most of the gospels are fulfillment of prophecies from the Tanakh. And living
examples of Torah lifestyle.
Most of the "New Testament" (The letters) is a commentary on the Torah, b and
for believers in the New covenant life.

It's all connected from Bereshit to Revelations. One story.

Could anyone be so kind to advise the original Hebrew scroll about Tehillim 6:8?

The reason to ask this is this verse is quoted by our Master יהושעat
Mattithyahu 7:23 and many versions translated as "wicked" and those versions
have only printed as "wicked" not "lawless".

It should be the "lawless"?

Tehillim 6:8
8Depart from me, all you workers of wickedness;

Mattithyahu 7:23 (The Scriptures)
23“And  then  I  shall  declare  to  them,  ‘I never knew you, depart from Me,
you who work lawlessness!’

Thank you.
