I happened to be searching for something in regards to a correlation between Cherokee and Hebrew languages and came across the list 'b-hebrew' on iBiblio. This particular page is from July '05. If you want to read some conversations between professors, researchers, linguists, and other people who have more than a simple interest in the Hebrew language, then peruse the threads on here. One thread that has some interesting information is on the 'pronunciation of YHWH', which actually starts in a different thread earlier in the list. If you decide to venture into the threads, make sure you have some time to read. Some of the responses are only a sentence or two, while others...well...aren't.

It's a reprint from Biblical Archaeology Review (an awesome magazine). -- Matt
