Android is no language. Your applications are written in Java.
Sony Ericsson is no platform. Symbian-applications (assuming you mean
Symbian-based Sony Ericsson phones) are typically written in C (or
python).
Symbian does support Java (do not know whether J2ME or the full
stack).
But: most probably your applications won't be easily portable because
ancdroid uses a quite different approach on the software side.
Still, nothing is impossible ;)

(As a beginner myself, feel free to correct my understanding of
android).
