Hi Justin, Thanks for your reply. I have some more questions.
Mine is an embedded system (not a mobile phone) with mdebian linux. I want to provide a touch screen based UI for the equipment. So for the java/linux stack is not needed. I only need the java part. Is it (currently) possible (or supported) to run the application created with android using a embedded JVM like squawk or dalvik? I would like to demonstrate the possibilities with Android (to my boss, i mean :) ). I could experiment and find out answers to some of these queries, but I am limited by time constraints.
