Just getting back into code and was wondering if I should start from notepad v2/3 or the contact list that exists? In actual application the contact list needs to be extensible, which I think java supports. Would kind of expect that as a utility function at the core of a phone that supports a myriad of applications. It seems silly for each application that deals with extensions of that data to have to transplant a new contacts list structure into the phone. That data is kind of like a common block that all programs should be able to access and extend.
What am I missing? Where should I be getting this data today? ed --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
