Try putting your EditText inside a > LinearLayout, setting layout_height and layout_width to your desired > values, and see if that helps
Yes that is what i did after hours of frustration with the functions, but what if i want to make it dynamic? Say height= 1/10 of the screen height? How do I do that with XML? and any reason why the setHeight etc functions may not be working?
