I'm not sure what an "item name" is, and I'm not sure what position
you're referring to.

Well say we have a ListView with the follwing items read in from a
cursor, through an adapter:

orange
apple
banana
grapes

now the user clicks on any one. Say s/he clicks on "apple". So, I want
the string "apple" ie the name of the item at a particular position in
the ListView. How do I get that?

Thanks,
Sylvester.
