Hello Android-ers, I'm starting out with the Android SDK and emulator and feel like I've run into a catch-22:
I'd like to get a feel for some of the apps out there, but: 1. If I browse and try to install an apk, I get a message "For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not sourced in Android Market". As I understand this is a known shortcoming in the current emulator. 2. The emulator does not have the Android Market app installed, and it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. So basically I feel a little boxed in...! :-) What am I missing? Thanks, - Guy. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
