You're asking a lot of questions at once there- it's not really clear what you know and what you don't know.
If you have no idea how to even start doing this, I would advise checking out the tutorials on the documentation. I can also strongly recommend the book "The Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development" by Mark Murphy, which is available from http://commonsware.com/ or in print. (pdf version will be updated + those updates will be free to download if you have bought the previous versions). This does, of course, assume you know some Java. If you don't, then you should start with learning Java first.
