I'm working on proximity alerts. I'd like to draw a colored circle on my map showing the proximity area, e.g. if the user wants to check for things within 100 meters of her, I want to draw a 100 m ring around her location. Of course, as she moves, the proximity circle would move.
None of my resources tell me how to do this. I assume I create a new overlay and draw a circle on that, right? The big question I've got is how do I determine how big to draw the circle? Also how do I handle zooming which will, obviously, change the size of my circle? -- Faber Fedor Cloud Computing New Jersey http://cloudcomputingnj.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
