I don't think this is possible. From my experience, to downgrade to the RC29, you need to format you sdcard to fat32 first and then put the img on it (roughly about 80-90 megs in size). You should do this from a pc to ensure everything is downloaded correctly and you can check the md5 of the files to avoid bricking your phone.
