I'm looking for a quite simple globe of the earth with a small amount of zoom to overlay some data points based on gps positions. I could have a go at writing this myself, but it seems quite similar ro what google earth might be able to provide? Is there any kind of API into goole earth for this type of thing? I know there is the map api, but thats not what I'm looking for. I just want to spin a globe and zoom in to about country level.
