It's definitely not a trivial task to do it on Windows. I have an XP
and I couldn't make it work, either. I googled a lot and saw that lot
of people struggled with that the device driver didn't install for
some strange reason. I finally could solve my problem, see the
solution at http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1039#c10
