By allowing an application to undetected delete or "block" the SMS
from being saved/sent to the sms application, one could write an
malicious application which allows remote controll of the phone and
giving no clues to the owner if there is something wrong with his
phone. This behaviour is intended.

The user should always have the controll over his phone and see what
he receives.

In other words for what i know the user has to manually delete the SMS
messages.
