Hey guys, i need the possibility to exchange messages between NEARBY Android Phones.
This could mean, if they are close enough together, that they build up a kind of ad-hoc net, or if one is connected to a hot spot, and another gets into the hot-spot net, that the hot spots tells one that there's another one available, so that they can send messages. I have no idea how to connect to a Hot Spot or How to set up ad-hoc net. I tried with Connectivty Manager and WifiManager - the GetScanResults Method always returns null, even if i actually ARE in a zone of hot spots...
