I got my developer G1 phone a few weeks back and have been relentlessly trying to get my service provider, MTNL (Dolphin) in India to help me figure out why I cannot access my GPRS on the phone.
Here's my story, I got my phone and put in all the APN settings with my existing service provider MTNL. It worked fine until I pressed the "Restore Default Settings" on my developer phone and after that I have never been able to log in in to my GPRS with my existing service provider Dolphin. When I approached all of their service departments, I was told to deactivate the PAP and CHAP settings on the handset which the developer phone does not have. I am wondering if someone can help me solve this or does anyone think that after pressing my "Restore Default Settings", there might be something in the phone that might have totally been erased, if so how do I get my phone to work with my existing network provider?
