AFAIK, shift keys do not have ASCII codes on any platform, let alone Android. Rather, they modify codes of other keystrokes. In Android, keypresses are normally represented by KeyEvent objects, and you can call isShiftPressed() to see if the Shift key was pressed at the time. -- Mark Murphy (a Commons Guy) http://commonsware.com Android App Developer Books: http://commonsware.com/books.html --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
