Hello,

Please make sure that you have created an AVD image for you build.
Check the following web page for doing this

http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/tools/avd.html

First list the existing targets with

> android list target
Available Android targets:
[1] Android 1.5
     API level: 3
     Skins: HVGA (default), HVGA-L, HVGA-P, QVGA-L, QVGA-P

As you can see I have only one target available. The use the commmand

>android create avd -n test -t 1
Android 1.5 is a basic Android platform.
Do you wish to create a custom hardware profile [no]no
Created AVD 'test' based on Android 1.5

After the creation of the AVD image you should be able to start your
emulator with

>./emulator -avd <name>

Of course another way is to use the Eclipse framework in which you
also can create your AVD image and start the emulator.
