Hi,

I have auto sync off for gmail on android because I'd rather manually
refresh.

But when I send mail I'd like it to go out right away when I'm
connected.

It seems that I have to hit refresh to get the mail to go out.

Is this a known problem?

This is not how the iphone works. Iphone will allow me to refresh
manually, but when I send, it sends right away.

Also the iphone gives much more feedback when refreshing. Gmail on
android, shows almost nothing. only the rotating sync button.

Of course, iphone references are only to make gmail and android better
because I prefer an open development environment.
