I would suggest you just create new Eclipse Projects for each of the apps. [ I assume you are referring to the source code downloaded from http://code.google.com/p/apps-for-android/source/checkout ]
Here are the steps to do it. Eclipse->File->New Android Project. Within the "Contents" section, Select "Create project from existing source" and set the Location to the root of your app directory. e.g. <your_path_to_apps_for_android>/ projectname I also noticed that some of these have R.java in their source tree. You may have to delete that file and just use the one that gets auto- generated under the "gen" folder in your eclipse project.
