Hi All, I have a web page which I am trying to watch in my Android mobile - G1.
When I view this web page in the Android internet browser, it displays a list of products with thumbnail images. If I click a thumbnail, it plays a video. This 3gp video is actually streamed via a rtsp link. I created a small application in Android with Webkit WebView control. When the above web page is viewed in Webview, the page is displayed with thumbnails properly. But, when I click a thumbnail, the rtsp 3gp streamed video is not playing. Instead, an error message indicating that the page may not be available is displayed. I think Webview uses the same engine as the Internet Browser. But, I am not sure why RTSP streamed video is not working via Webview. I am sure I am missing something simple. Could someone please help?
