Hi, I'm new to android, and in java too. I'm trying to develop a simple alarm application, but what is the best way to check if the alarm shall be fired? Is it to use a time-tick receiver and check if the alarm time and the current time is the same, or how should this be done? I have looked at the official Alarm Clock source, but I can't find out how it checks it.
