I would say it is pretty much up to preferences. Android SDK works both on Linux and windows. I personaly believe that Linux is better environment especially in terms of coding. The only real difference in the systems in Android domain I know is that compiling android os from sources works only on Linuxes and MacOS , so if you plan to play with those windows is not for you.
