Hi all, I have a quick question about interfacing dev phone with the bx-24 microcontroller. To physically connect the two device, we used a male db9 to usb mini 5 pin. Now the question is, is an USB data acquisition required on the phone end? Knowing that for usb connections, the phone acts as the guest end, since it can connect to the PC (host). When we connect Bx-24 with the dev phone, and coded the microcontroller to send data out via the serial port, the phone does not respond in any way (probably because it acts as a guest too??...).
