I joined Android Market so I could order a Google developer phone. Once I got signed up the web page tells me the phone is out of stock.
How "out of stock" is out of stock? How long do these shortages last? Is this just a hiccup or are people running naked in the streets? Are there other options? I've heard of new Android phones coming out. Things like the HTC. Are they an option for a developer? I'm in Buffalo, NY and already have G3 service via AT&T. Any real world information you could give me on the elusive developer phone would be appreciated.
