Hello everyone, sorry if this is a silly question, but I want to stay out of legal trouble with my first venture into selling software!
I have seen that a number of apps on the market modify the original little green android guy icon (give him hats, clothes, change his color, etc). I think it is a fun theme for applications, and really enhances the feel of Android in general for me as a user. Is it acceptable use of the original artwork to modify it in this manner if the application is going to be a paid app? I'll most likely be asking someone else to do my art anyway as I'm not much of an artist myself, but I have an idea for a modified Android guy that I'd like to use as an icon, and I wanted to make sure that was okay. Thanks a lot! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
