Hi guys.
The best practive is to run emulator from command line not from under
eclipse, as it starts much faster, and always starts, in contrary to
eclipse launching the emulator.

Open a console finde your sdk instalation enter tools folder then use
the command emulator -avd your_avd_name, e.g.
....\android-sdk-windows-1.5_r3\tools> emulator -avd my_avd

In my case, when I launch it from the consol it takes just max 10
secounds to start.
