Hi , I'm developing a GPS application and I am testing it with the emulator. I'm using coordinates (generated by a Simulator)that are quite close, 80 meters but the emulator seems that it doesn't receive them. Only if the distance is more than some kilometers the emulator seems to work.. I have istantiate the LocationManger with: locMan.requestLocationUpdates(LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER,*60000, *50, gpsListener);
*60000 =seconds to upadate *50 =meters to update I have tried it also with *1000 and *0 but not much has change. Furthermore when the emulator receives some coordinates, they are not the same that the simulator has trasmits(but I think it is normal to simulate a real GPS receiver). Is there nobody that has the same problem?Or know how to solve it..namely what can I do for increasing the accuracy of the emulator and allow it to receive close coordinates? this is an example of coordinates i'm using: 44.0008 12.0 44.0016 12.0 44.0024 12.0 44.0040 12.0 44.0040 12.0008 44.0040 12.0016 44.0040 12.0024 44.0040 12.0040 44.0024 12.0040 44.0016 12.0040 44.0008 12.0040 44.0008 12.0024 44.0008 12.0016 44.0008 12.0008 Thanks --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
