I have one htc hero..it is very fast when you will want to test your app on it..you must wait 10seconds till your app will runing..you will like the interface..it is inovative and really nice..but the processor is a bit slow when you have a lot of apps installed.after you will install driver,eclipse will recognize it and is more,more fast then simulator.hope i helped you..sorry for my english...
