What is the cookbook way to build the sample apps in the android-1.5/ samples SDK directory. There are not any ant build.xml scripts. I tried "android create project" using the samples directory but that gave me an error saying the directory already existed and then proceeded to overwrite things strings.xml. So that was clearly NOT the right thing to do.
I thought it would be nice to build the samples and play with them. How do I do that? I'm looking for the non-Eclipse way using ant - but I don't see how to do it with Eclipse either.
