This would be a nonissue if someone said merry Christmas on the
listserve. Let's review the following. Mike, you have clogged the
forums as much as the original post via your response. I know I have
as well, but you need corrected, as you're speaking irrationally.
Secondly, spreading joy with other people isn't arrogant. Thirdly, I'm
a white protestant raised in the US and I will be celebrating diwali -
no reason not to enjoy the company of others celebrating theirr faith.
Finally, your over reaction shows innate, unjustified prejudice on
your behalf. Julie "Club India"? Keep your racism to yourself.
Hinduism isn't limited to India and regardless, again, spreading joy
was a lot more pleasant than your bigotry. There are way more annoying
posts on this forum, such as "how do i download the android SDK", so
the fact that you took time to respond to this shows some serious
underlying issues you have with people from other faiths. Honestly,
writing something so broadly sweeping as "this will turn people
against you" using you as a term for all Hindus in a broad grouping
gesture is incredibly offensive. And Julie, your two last posts have
consisted of "huh, how rude!" and "huh wtf?", so I'm pretty sure we
can generally agree your posts have been significantly more useless.
It's not club valley girl either
