M3 is a seriously obsolete release, which dates before Android had any kind of stable API in place. If you really want help porting your code, you might as well start by listing the compilation errors you get. I also noticed you mentioned you were using the 1.5 SDK -- you might want to switch to the latest 2.0 SDK.
