I am using the widget http://code.google.com/p/toggleheadset/ on the HTC hero. Currently the widget switches between HEADSET on and no HEADSET. This deactivates the phones built in microphone. I would like to edit the widget to switch between HEADPHONE on and no HEADPHONE, as this profile leaves the microphone active. I have extracted the files from within the apk - and then I reach the limit of my abilities:( I thought I would be able to modify the xml file but I cant edit it in notepad etc. Any help is much appreciated.
