Thanks for quick answer, And for useful way for setting the InputType in code,
My problem is once the InputType is set, along with selecting the keyboard view, the text formatting is also controlled. Is it possible to hide the data formating using TYPE_MASK_CLASS or TYPE_MASK_FLAGS? I have tried several variations but to no avail. I plan to enter numeric data first, with an optional text suffix into one editBox, without having to pressing tye '?123' key on text keyboard to enter the inital numeric data. Any ideas?
