I just ran the SDK installer on my Vista machine. I am getting the following error.
Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: HTTPS SSL error. You might want to force download through HTTP in the settings. I am able to enter this URL in a browser and it fetches the XML document with no problem. Only when running the SDK setup do I get the error. It mentions forcing an HTTP download in settings but all the settings tab has is a place to enter an HTTP proxy, which I am not using. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
