This causes the same error for me. It makes using adb inside eclipse
impossible - you just get null pointer exceptions all over the place.
My devices is a T-Mobile Pulse by the way.

I'm pretty sure no-one at Google actually reads that bug database
though. They certainly never add comments. :-|
