Thanks, you are of curse correct...I was being lazy. I did try the postDelay and that helped a bit but not as much as I need.
My layout is really super complicated too..is it possible some of the time is stuck unwinding that? Is it possible to load a different, less complicated layout then overlay it with the final one... Without the layout sliding away and the new one sliding in?
